Total Vapour Management

Petroman have developed a number of products to improve safety and reduce loss of vapour into the environment.

With the extensive knowledge gained through our work in the Petroleum Industry we have experienced, at first hand, the problems with current vapour recovery systems.

This has led to the development of our own vapour management system known as 'Total Vapour Management'

There are four main components of the system

Stage 1b and Stage 2 Vapour Recovery Testing

A thorough understanding of how safe and efficient a VR system is will help to minimise risks during deliveries to the site operator, the delivery driver and the general Public as well as helping to protect the enironment.

Knowledge of the safety and effieciency of a system through testing will allow an operator to set up a programme of planned and preventative maintenance, promoting the reduction of long term operating costs by reducing the risks of deliveries and reducing high costs of reactice maintenance work.

Our range of services include the following:    

• Initial tank and site survey
• Product sampling from multiple sectors of tank floor
• Analysis of samples
• Comparison of samples 
• Recommendations for appropriate service levels
• Reporting with photographic evidence

Tank Cleaning

• De-watering in preparation for E5
• “Bottom Sweep” of entire tank floor to remove contaminants
• Removal and disposal of waste contaminants and water
• Multi stage fuel polishing and return to tank
• Full tank clean (when appropriate – separate quotation prepared)
• Full certification and reporting
• Follow up programme of planned preventative treatments
• Bio-Klenz preventative maintenance treatment for bacterial contamination
